Little Bunny Foo Foo

Image
Little Bunny Foo Foo, Hopping through the forest Scooping up the field mice And boppin' 'em on the head
Down came the good fairy and she said
"Little Bunny Foo Foo, I don't want to see you Scooping up the field mice And boppin' 'em on the head. I'll give you one chance, And if you don't behave I'll turn you into a goon!"
The next day:
Little Bunny Foo Foo, Hopping through the forest Scooping up the field mice And boppin' 'em on the head
Down came the good fairy and she said "Little Bunny Foo Foo, I don't want to see you Scooping up the field mice Now you're a goon! POOF!!"
The moral of the story is:
HARE TODAY, GOON TOMORROW

The beginning of Spring for me - March 23rd

Image
Spring is finally here and everything is calling out for attention - the yard, the spring clothes, the winter dust, the couped up dogs - even me! But I'm still trying to make the art. Here is a colored pencil drawing I did while I was snow bound -one of many. I'm contemplating what to do with her, I'd like to use her in a collage. Mmmmm - sweep the cob-webs out of my head and CREATE!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!

IRISH    BLESSINGS

May the road rise up to meet you.  May the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
And . . . May you be in heaven a full half hour before the devil knows you are dead

The final Jester - for now - I love drawing the Renassaince Clowns. I painted this one with watercolors, not as much fun as colored pencils.

The 3rd JESTER

Image
Another Jester, this one is an older man, he seems tired - tired of juggling - he could probably juggle with his eyes closed!

The 2nd JESTER

Still painting Jesters with the colored pencils - I really like this one!

Well, We're not snowed in anymore - but the studio garage is still out of commission! Way too Cold!
So I'm still drawing and illustrating and painting with my fav colored pencils.
