The Queen's Croquet

 The Queen's Croquet

While we were in Wonderland, it just seemed right to draw the Queen of Hearts. I played croquet when I was young, so I was always drawn to the Queens croquet - the flamingo mallet and the hedgehog balls! As for the look on the Queen's face, I can imagine her saying, "Off with their heads!"

This colored pencil painting is 20 x 16" on
300lb Bristol board paper.
