My third pencil painting this year. A colorful play of complimentary colors - purple and green.

Prismacolor pencils on Strahmore Bristol, 11 x 14".

The bamboo was burnished with a colorless lender and the background with alcohol.

This is a very detailed, industrious, busy painting of my junk drawer. I am entering a contest where the competition will be fierce. I needed a painting that would catch an eye, something unexpected and different from the norm. I hope this will do the trick.

Colored Pencil Landscape

 The holidays are over, decorations packed away for another year, and sadly the last Godiva chocolate eaten. Time to get back to work.

This was the perfect colored pencil painting to bring in the new year 2022. Warm and inviting, not at all like the cold and bleak view from our wintery window.
