I've been putting off this project for months - the picture book. With ducks. Very labor intensive. In my 2016 schedule I planned for this to be complete in January and here it is June!
32 page picture book. This one will have 31 illustrations as I have planned a picture on every story page. Not including the cover, title page, and end pages.
I choose about 50 colored pencils to be my pallette. I draw all the illustrations with an ink pen and will start the colors with the sky. I will paint the sky on each illustration, then start with the background trees.
It is very methodical. Not as much fun as working on just one picture. But this method ensures color continuity through out the book.
