I've always wanted to do a surrealist painting. I admire Mark Ryden's work, so I used his style as inspiration. I've also wanted to do a large colored pencil painting, so I decided to incorporate these two ideas.
The White Rabbit has been one of my favorite themes.
But instead of an actual white rabbit,
I am using a white rabbit mask.
Sketches first.
Draw selected sketch on tracing paper.
Get it right, then transfer the drawing to bristol board paper,
now add COLOR . . .
