So - is it complete? Is it the best it can be?
I've used my favorite palette.
I've used my own drawings for the collage material.
I've got the element of surprise and the unexpected.
That nagging little voice is saying,
"Sure, you could get away with this."
But, "is everything you want to say in this painting?
My answer, "Actually, I think the garden is a little sparse,"
so, out comes my collage stash . . .
and the Gnome Garden is finished.
